After many different thoughts on how to keep everyone informed across the country of how life is back in KC for Dan & I (and Monroe), I've decided to start this blog. We'll see how it goes.
We just returned last night from being down at the lake for the weekend. My little nephew, Tristan, simply must be the happiest baby in the world. He laughs constantly and enjoys playing by himself or with anyone who will join him. We spent most of our days on Julie & Doug's dock (my sister & brother in law) where Tristan enjoyed his "johnny jump-up". The picture captures it perfectly.
Dan and I just received our furniture this morning, which for those of you who know, has been a nightmare. Its taken over a month... we'll just leave it at that.
So, tonight will be like Christmas, opening all our boxes. Half of me wants it to just disappear and the other half is excited to have my stuff. I have a feeling my apartment will not be clean for a while.
So that'll be it for now. But I hope to "blog" often so those of you who'd like to know can see what is going on with the Shepard Family. Later!
